Vickie L. Jewell, O.D.

Dr. Jewell grew up in Vienna, OH. She earned a B.S. Degree in Chemistry from Grove City College in Grove City, PA. She attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she served clinical rotations in Primary Care, Pediatrics, Pathology, Contact Lens, Low Vision, and Nursing Home Facility Care. Her externships included a contact lens specialty practice and the Vitreoretinal Foundation, both in Memphis.
Lancaster has been her home since 1995. She and her husband, Mark have two beautiful children, David and Leanne. She is an active member of First Presbyterian Church and participates in the Lancaster Lions Club. Other community projects have included the 21st Century After School Program, LCRC T-Ball, Soccer, and Basketball and local health fairs. Her commitment to the community enables her to dedicate herself to the needs of her patients, taking the time to ensure a quality, comprehensive eye examination. |
